Day 1: Secure the home
Do these things the day you get your keys.
- Rekey all exterior locks
- Change garage door codes
- Reset smart lock or alarm system codes
- Change alarm system passwords
Week 1: Set up utilities and services
Get these running within the first week.

- Gas — Piedmont Natural Gas (if applicable)
